Cutting Edge News!
Dave's "virtual" craft shows are over for the year. We'll see what 2021 brings. In the meantime, if you're interested in commissioning an original papercutting, or in purchasing one of the many cuttings in this website's galleries, you can communicate with Dave via the Contact Page.
For those who missed it, click here to see the archived virtual McLean Holiday Art and Crafts Festival. Dave's work appears in the first day's compilation. His video is at the 49:42 mark, and the "live" panel in which he participated starts at 1:02:38.
Click here to see Dave's first-ever video tour of his Arlington studio! The tour was part of this year's Arlington Visual Arts Studio Tour, which showcased the studios of some 40 local artists in September.
Two of Dave's bookplate designs (see below) are part of the Guild of American Papercutters' new exhibit, Ex Libris. This traveling exhibit will be in selected storefront windows on Main Street in Takoma Park, MD, during January and February 2021.
New Galleries! Because the coronavirus has rendered most fall art and craft shows virtual this year, Dave has greatly increased the number of papercuttings he displays on his website's galleries. In addition, he has added many new subject-matter galleries--including holidays, music and arts, and children's stories--as well as a separate gallery featuring holiday ornaments. Please check them out! As always, if you would like to purchase one of Dave's papercuttings, please use the website's Contact page or reach out to Dave on Facebook.
